How long does artificial grass last?

Most artificial grass products last between 15 and 20 years. Commercial sports fields typically need replacement after about 10 years due to heavier use. Nearly all Purchase Green artificial grasses come with a Lifetime Warranty.

How do I clean artificial grass?

For regular cleaning, use a leaf blower or a stiff-bristled broom to remove debris. For lightly soiled or pet areas, use a kid-friendly, pet-safe, and environmentally friendly enzymatic cleaner, like Purchase Green’s Turf Cleaner or Turf Bomb.

Does Artificial grass get hot in the summer?

Artificial grass can get a bit warmer than natural grass in direct midday sun. However, it doesn’t retain heat when it's shaded or after the sun goes down. We also offer several grasses with Cool Yarn technology, designed to stay cooler through advanced manufacturing.

Is Artificial grass safe for kids?

Absolutely. All Purchase Green grasses and products are lead-free, non-toxic, and low-maintenance. They’re tested here in the United States, and test results are available for download.
